So far finding it very straight-foward and makes me really see more of what is right in front of me...also induces sleep!

Bill Chapter Seven: Three Wondrous Answers, seemed to set the stage for what I may understand of Thich Nhat Hahn's point of view.

"'Remember that there is only one important time and that is now... The most important person is always the person you are with, who is right before you... The most important pursuit is making the person standing at your side happy, for that alone is the pursuit of life.'"

Elsewhere, Hahn says, "The suffering of others is our own suffering, and the happiness of others is our own happiness."

How we interact with others, moment by moment, provides many of my personal challenges and joys in this life.
