According to MaryJanice:
"Everything in the Undead universe has been leading to this book (say it with me: poor Betsy!). Yes, there has been a method to my madness. The support group she has so carefully, if unconsciously, been building around herself, that I've been building for her, is about to disappear."

Sooo... yes, I think this is the best book of Undead so far!
And yes, I like how Betsy finally can have a little bit of suspense and real kick-ass, instead of whining all day about constant crappy things happening in her life.

Still witty, this book gives much extras than usual Betsy stories in the form of action and thriller...

However, to think that this book was the original FINAL story of Betsy that MaryJanice had planned for... and considering how everything has been built up to -ehem- this point... Does it live to the expectation of a Big Booming Ending? hmmmm... not so much...

(I almost gave it a 4... but unfortunately just not quite there yet!!!)
