really liked it

I expected this book to creep me out, like the Giver, or Uglies, the first time I read it. But after I got past a few things, (the realization that it's in the future, a few minor changes that have been made to Earth, the characters predicament, etc.) it really wasn't that weird at all, which I enjoyed. Mary Pearson, the author, was able to write a sci-fi novel without having humanity drastically changed. Basically, we're the same as we are now (except for Jenna, but telling why would give the plot away).
Despite the normalities of Earth, The Adoration of Jenna Fox was a weird book. Just the premise was different. In a good way. Her relationship with her parents was interesting, and I felt like I knew the characters. The writing was pretty good, I think, and Jenna was a human character who was easy to relate to.
I would recommend this book to anyone who likes reading.
