One False Note (39 Clues, #2)
by Gordon Korman
by Gordon Korman
Another fun romp following Amy and Dan Cahill as they go on the search created by their grandmother to find the family's fortune. This time they are travelling through Germany, Austria and eventually Venice. These books are full of action and suspense. They are easy, quick reads geared toward kids/young adults, but enjoyable for adults too.
It continues after the children find the first clue in the first book and now they are on the lookout for the next one. Amy and Dan always manage to get by even when you think they won't, but the way is never easy for them.
I love them as characters and enjoyed getting to know them more in this one. The rest of the family is really over the top, but interesting. Gordon Korman does a great job of continuing the series without losing any of the feel of it that was set up in the first book.
I look forward to reading the next installment of this series and my oldest son is begging me to get the first one back from the library so he can read it.
