While this book felt a bit boring and monotone at times, I still highly recomend it because there are some truly beautiful passages within it. I think that it gives some very good insight into the times and also what sort of things inspired people to become involved in this cause. Like I said, a bit slow at points, but some self-revelations she has about race and people are marvelous.
