** spoiler alert ** Not the best book I've ever read. I felt as though I was listening to someone go on and on about their life, for no particular reason, and then in the end, it's all twisted around and everything you've just been told turns out to be a series of hallucinations...????? WTF??? I was left feeling confused and unsatisfied. The whole "mystery" around the death of Towner's twin sister fell flat. I didn't sense much mystery through the whole book - it seemed pretty clear: she jumped off a cliff and died... it's just that in the end you find out Towner has completely hallucinated Lyndley's childhood existance - I'd call that a twist, not a mystery.
