3/09 Wow! Incredible new upper elementary children's book that uses both words and pictures to tell the story. It is not a graphic novel. It is not an illustrated book. It is a book that tells a story sometimes with intriguing drawings and sometimes in prose. The story itself is an excellent mystery. The characters are interesting and you want to help them solve the mystery. In general the drawings show actions while the words express thoughts and conversation.
