This book focuses on a select few advanced Swing topics, specifically text components, table cell renderers and editors, drag-and-drop, and undo/redo. The level of detail into these topics are very good. There are lots of good code examples and a lot of explanation of those examples. Remember that this is not an introduction to Swing. The "advanced" in its title is not misleading - it really goes into an advanced level on how to work with a specific few Swing components.
