This is the newest book from my press. The thing I love most about this book is its unique tone. Most other flash fiction veers off into the weird or comical, but Claudia's work always seem to bask in a golden glow of melancholy and bittersweet love. I remember reading her previous chapbook and thinking, "Wow, she really is as good as they say." Put Your Head In My Lap goes even deeper, reading almost like a connected cycle about characters who are falling out of love and striving for a new independence, no matter how lonely it is.
