This fell back into my lap unexpectedly this month and am changing my rating accordingly. was the perfect hard read at the right moment to smack the self pity and despair right out of your mouth when you start obsessing about the perils of making the art you HAVE to make. Make the damn art. NOW. Don't think about anyone else and don't give a flippin damn what they say. MAKE THE DAMN ART. NOW.
Thank you Steven.

(earlier opinion)
Ooooo he's a tough coach! But if you want someone to shake you out of your 'yahbut..' stupor of not making enough art or the right art or committing to that dangerous ellusive inner eye, then Pressfield is a good choice. I forsee rereading this many times. It really is a kick in the ass.
