This is what a Christian book should be. Not full of preachy, too-good characters. Human, believable characters. People with flaws and faults that allow us to see how God's grace can work in them.

This book had many twists and turns. There were quite a few characters in it, and they are rapidly introduced in the first portion of the book. I had a difficult time getting people straight, but as the story developed and I came to know each story better I was glad they all had their parts.

The broker's story was my least favorite. I never enjoy reading about conscious decisions being made by someone to do what he did. But it worked, and his story needed to be told.

I was moved to tears by the last part of the book. A beautiful, fitting ending and food for thought for me.
