it was amazing
bookshelves: contemp-fiction, curmudgeons-for-justice
Recommended for: the US Border Patrol

This book was my introduction to Barbara Kingsolver. Maybe it was her first full length novel, I'm not sure. At any rate. I loved this book. From the crazy tires exploding at the beginning, to the people the main character meets along the way as she tries to sort out her life. Loved the tie-in to the Sanctuary Movement. Just a wonderful, engaging, thought-provoking, well-told story.
