Wow, was I ever impressed by this $2.99 find at my local "A Comic Shop" in Orlando. Although I can't recall reading any of John Byrne's work since getting back into comics in 2003, I definitely know the name holds significance. I was surprised to see this original TPB being offered so cheaply.

That helped a great deal in setting my expectations low so that I was very impressed with what I got. It's an engaging read, competently written and drawn, although there are goofy spots of badly proportioned art and 80s sensibility. Overall it's very entertaining, a great find all around.

Now I just have to find a collection with the next set of issues that isn't a $40 hardcover (Premier Edition), since the "Compleat" series of reprints from IDW are black and white only.
