I was instantly part of this story - it's funny, sad, thoughtful and all around fabulous. AND - my first Bethany book that finished the first story in the first book of the trilogy! Fantastic. I only wish Rafe hadn't been a one dimensional villain - he was too far over the top. And I can't imagine that what happened to Ellie would have been okay with Dave and the sheriff, honestly. I hear he's less cardboard in book three, but I wish he'd started out that way.

Kristine I'm excited, Tracie Peterson writes such great things, and this is a new series I haven't read. Going to put it on hold now! :)
