I don't understand what the fuss is about. The Fountainhead was much better. Atlas Shrugged is about 400 pages too long, has far too many monologues, and it's extremely repetitive.

It had some moments of clarity, but it degenerated into a complete mess towards the end. Galt's speech was completely over-the-top, and that bit about Eddie Willers was simply ridiculous. I thought Galt, Dagny, Hank, and Francisco were just plain annoying in the end.
