I read this book while traveling in New Mexico. This was an enthralling, spritually inspired book. The land of New Mexico is magical, and her book gives us a taste of the spirit that existed when the catholics were settling there and dealing with the harsh conditions - and maintaining their beliefs. Highly recommend.
