Strange, short book with some neat artwork. The story is "steampunk," which is, to quote Wikipedia...."The term denotes works set in an era or world where steam power is still widely used—usually the 19th century, and often Victorian era England—but with prominent elements of either science fiction or fantasy." Not my cup of tea, but unlike the last two books I tried to read (True Compass by Ted Kennedy [just plain boring:] and the new Atwood book [too bizarre for me:], at least I made it through this one.
