A random, disjointed collection of anecdotes from the history of comic books. Despite what the cover says, most of these stories are not quite "fascinating," and none of them qualify as "bizarre." I normally love this kind of thing, but the author seemed to enjoy writing this much more than I enjoyed reading it. Far few references to other pages ("see page 74 to learn that story") would have helped. So would references to the research that was supposedly done. And proofreading. Not a complete waste of time, but close.
