really liked it
bookshelves: horror, high-drama

Sure, this book is far from perfect. I would enjoy it more as a straightforward novel, rather than an uneasy marriage of fiction and investigative journalism. The dialogue is often melodramatic, and many aspects of the book are way too far fetched to be believable. Yet, on the whole, I found it to be fun, effective story-telling.
