I've already gone over how I didn't understand the book in 9th grade, thus stopped reading and got a 56 on the test.....but I'm an adult now. I am going to try again. To be honest, so far, I'm still not getting into it...

WHY CAN'T I READ THIS BOOK? Scrolling the reviews on GR, I seem to be the only person in America, nay, the WORLD who doesn't like this book. And I love Dickens. love love love him. Listening to this book is like listening to a mathematical problem. I don't get it, can't follow it, wanna quit.

But I am going to stick with it. I only have 5 hours left!

No. I just can't do it. Mr. Dickens, I'm sorry to say, you have defeated me. I still love you and all of your other work. But it seems I am too prejudiced toward the Darnays and Manettes.
