This is a wonderful little book. It reads about the same pace and style as Paul's previous book, The Revolution: A Manifesto. I enjoyed this one much more because Dr. Paul made use for footnotes and citations which his last book was sorely lacking.

Can't say I didn't read anything I wasn't already familiar with. However I think this book can serve two good purposes: 1) it is an excellent starting place for anyone who wants to know how the FED works and what it does 2) it is a very good refresher book. Edward Griffin's The Creature from Jekyll Island is by far the best work done on the FED, but it's very long. So, it's hard to loan out to people and it's hard to get oneself to re-read to familiarize oneself with the material Paul's book, while not as detailed or thoroughly researched as Griffin's does meet the needs which the latter does not meet.
