This is the follow up story to Mitchard's novel Deep End of the Ocean. This story takes place 22 years later when Ben, Vincent and Kerry are all adults. I found the plot of the story to be contrived and boring. The three siblings unite to make a documentary film about children abducted by strangers and the lo and behold Ben's baby girl is abducted. I guess the loose ends from the first book were tied up too easily in this sequel.
