Read in October, 2009

Humor, history, great plot, quirky characters, danger, adventure, this book has it all! I thoroughly enjoyed it. Loved Homer's voice and his way of stretching the truth. This book is on the list for the 2010 Newbery and in my estimation it stands an excellent chance.
