Jack Fleming, gentleman vampire, nightclub owner and temporary head mobster, is trying to juggle all of his new duties while dealing with the aftermath of his own torture at the hands of a sadistic maniac. The New York bosses have sent Whitey Kroun to Chicago to discipline Jack which may result in a reorganization of the entire Chicago gang that Jack is trying to run as a favor for the injured Gordy. Jack is experiencing physical as well as psychological problems as a result of his ordeal and dealing with rebellion among the ranks from those who don't think he should be running the gang. Tensions rise and dead bodies start littering the scene and Jack has to face the possibility that he may soon be permanently deceased. Another imaginative look at Chicago of the 1930's
