I didn't like most of it, was making fun of it in my mind, all this weird drama over nothing. I was considering it a mediocre book with flashes of sudden beautiful writing. I was also disturbed by all that women kissing women. But, I had a sudden reversal of opinion, the end just snuck up on me. I gave a, for real, audible gasp, I mean I was shocked. I can't say that I like the book, but it packed a punch. Also, I've been told that Virginia Woolf, who is one of the 3 women in this book, belonged to the Bloomsbury group. Bloomsbury was a section of London in which many writers and brilliant intellectuals lived and explored "alternative" lifestyles. Evidently I did not know enough about Virginia Woolf before I started the book.
