I love this book....and oddly enough I didn't care for his second book at all???? Oh well.

I found this book thoughtful and fair to the school of Christian thought delt with in the book (more and more unusual). It is not what I'd call a "feel good" book, but it does succeed in transmitting the hope of the Christian faith without being preachy.

The question "if there is a good God why is there....famine, war, crime, hatred....etc, etc, etc," is thoughtfully and intelegently delt with here. And, it's done pretty well.

Ashley I felt similarly about Enger's second book, Mike, though I warmed up to it in the final 60 pages or so. This one is a hard act to follow!

Mike (the Paladin) Yeah, it is.
