it was amazing
bookshelves: question-reality, historical, magical-realism, adult

I normally try to avoid WWII and Holocaust books. That's just my personal preference. I feel that it's an overdone genre that steeps in the horror of it all. The young Foer, however, brings something fresh and new to the genre with this book. I don't want to put any spoilers in my review, so I'll just say that the revelation at the end of the book took me by surprise and made me consider another aspect to the war and Holocaust that I never had before.
