I like this book, it just seems to take me longer and longer to read it each time. I've heard a lot of theories--and there are a lot of people who discount this one as being the worst of the series--but I can't agree. Each one of the space books has a purpose--and Lewis' first purpose in his fiction was to tell a story. And this story rocks. It just ties in so much history and legend and ideas and theology AND the previous two books, so it has a lot to try to resolve. Every time I read it, I learn something new about me, about Lewis and about this amazing world he saw. I love how the book delves not only into the fight between good and evil, but the dance that happens between man and woman, and the factors that impact the outcome of that dance.
