Perfectly amusing YA novel about a child prodigy who is no longer a child (or prodigious) and having a bit of a life crisis after being dumped for the 19th time by a girl named Katherine. He goes on a road trip with his best (and only) friend Hasan and they end up in Tennessee and meet an eccentric woman and her daughter. Lots of anagrams, as well as math -- Colin's trying to write a math formula to predict how relationships turn out. In truth, I'm too old for this and there will probably be something equally good and contemporary for my kids when they get to be 15, but it's a good book for teenagers now, I'd guess.

Story of how I found the book: internet searching for ukulele Beatles covers led to some sophomore in college who arranges Prince-like versions of pop songs that she plays by herself. On one video she mentions this book as her favorite. So I read it to try to understand what kind of person posts Youtube videos of herself playing ukulele. Not sure it helped in that regard, but it was entertaining.
