it was amazing
bookshelves: fairies, magic, paranormal, urban-fantasy, fantasy, favorites, hero-i-love, hot-and-steamy

I liked the first few books in Karen Marie Moning's Fever series but I wasn't particularly impressed with them. I thought the heroine while fun, got annoying at times and the plot moved rather slow. With each new book though, I thought the series became better and more engrossing to me. I was really blown away with the last book in the series and the ending had me dying to read it's sequel. However, this book totally blew even the previous book out of the water. I literally couldn't put it down once I picked it up. The heroine with each book became more interesting and by this book you really root for her. It's definitely an emotional read though, and if you've read the previous book in the series you know what I'm talking about. It doesn't deal with it in a nonchalant way though and it isn't disregarded after the fact. The ending though leaves you just as frustrated and dying for the next book as all the others so be warned. Supposedly the next book will be the last in the series and I'm going to be really sorry when it's over. I loved this book to pieces and hope the last book lives up to my expectations.
