This was a fantastic book that I will definitely go back and read! Skousen did an amazing job of clarifying principles the Founders of our country instilled versus what is happening today. As any person can see, we are a long way from where the Founders believed the government would and should be as to where we are in the year 2009. Some of the most memorable issues were the importance of family, belief in God, and also how much involvement the government should really have in our daily lives. Unfortunately, from my opinion, both these subjects are really taking different paths than what the Founders believed and created in our Constitution and Bill of Rights.
