I really liked this book at the time I listened to it. However, recently I read that William Least Heat-Moon is an english college professor who woke up one day and discovered he was osage. This was in the book that had a list of "fake indians", Dean Chavers "Racism in Indian Country". Dean Chavers is reputable in the native american community so I have to totally believe this fact.

In hindsigh, dissapointing.
