This book has a more complex plot line then other picture books, as it is in chronological order as well in a circular plot. The passing of time can make the book feel almost too long for a short attention span. Though the time span does allows the book to do an extensive job of exploring and highlighting the parts of the library. The details would be excellent for children with autism, to help prepare them for a trip to the library and also other students to know what expectations will be there for him or her when they arrive. It might also excite them for the trip as the book’s library is seen as a welcoming place that is always helping satisfying the quest for knowledge.
