Great book, guess what the Hessian's weren't drunk. The Trenton/Princeton campaign really was the turning point of the War. David Hackett Fischer is a historian of the first order. The reference section alone is worth reading the book. He includes causality statistics along with how the three armies (British, Hessian, American) were affected by disease and malnutrition. The Historiography section is really good for the readers that are interested
Highly recommended history!
