really liked it

I really liked this book! I escaped to it whenever I could... stayed up late reading it... I just couldn't put it down. I got hooked from the beginning; it's a real page turner. It really made me think how one person can change someone else's lives.
These poor children in this book started out with such a promising future; they were happy, fun children who lived the first 3 yrs of their lives in such a loving environment... only to have it drastically changed one day. These twin girls go through one tragedy after another, but through it all they have each other. I became very attached to these girls and their story. I kept thinking that even though they had so many struggles, there had to be a happy ending...

There was a point in their lives (as I'm sure there is in all of ours) where if things would have gone one way they would have had a completely different life.. it's just interesting to think of the two directions their lives could have taken- one so good and one so sad and miserable. They could have had everything they ever wanted, but it was torn away from them.
