Although this book gives some fascinating insight into the early days of Hollywood and the sinister inner workings of the major studios, it is really a checklist of unworthy deeds committed by a man who was unfortunately revered by many. Flynn does seem rather proud of his "wicked, wicked ways" and shows no remorse nor does he try to justify his actions. He shoots straight, which makes for some interesting reading, but leaves you feeling sorry in the end that someone could be so proud of a life that was filled with gross misdeads. Probably not someone who you should model your life after.

Megan Spilker A book I will not be reading lest the scales should fall from my eyes. A high probability.
