Given one word to use as to what I think this book could be if you are a writer of any sort of fiction, I'd have to choose "indispensible".

I can already see myself in the future revisiting this book and in the present practicing things that I've been taught by it.

I'm not a big fan of reading non-fiction but Lamott made this an effortless read for me. Through the book, you're constantly learning, taking in little stories of the author's life, and being entertained.

Truly a great tool in any writer's toolbox.

Thanks to Antony Johnston and Fred Schroyer for recommending this gem.
