it was amazing
bookshelves: picture-books, storytime

Just fantastic and utterly stunning. This is a simple book that goes through a day in the life of any child. The photos come from all over the world and show both the differences and the commonalities of being a child in this world. Racial divides are crossed and many cultures are featured. This book would work well in a storytime, as a teaching tool, or just as a gift to the people in your life who would enjoy some beautiful meaning. Plus, Stephen Alvarez's photo of a firefly is heart-stopping.
