Kathrynn This was a great story, Shawna! Hope you enjoy it, too.

Shawna Thanks! I love the "Virgin River" series, so I'm eager to read some of her other contemporaries.

Kathrynn I recommend "The House on Olive Street" by Robyn Carr, too. It's about 5 women that range in age from young to old. All writer's, but of different genres. They get together (weekly or monthly?) and brainstorm. One is a famous romance novelist, one a struggling mystery writer, one professor somewhere (the eldest), etc. One of them dies (that's how the book begins) and in her Will she asks them to go through her life's work. Journalism. The story they unravel about their deceased friend got to me. The others get to know each other so much better. One is being abused by her husband, one has a secret, and other life decisions.

Great story with 2/3 romances running through it. My advice, get some tissues!
