Just a strange read -- strange people.
Odd.
I love an odd premise such as this one.
Also slightly horrifying.
And funny in some places!

Sarah I love this book. And Irving's novels are always disturbing in some way. The edition I read had a thing in the back all about how his characters lose something. Think about everything the characters lost in Garp. Loved ones, penises (more than one person!), among other things...

But, yeah, lots of strangeness.
