Puke, puke, puke.

Carrie has a twin who is prettier than her and always gets the attention and the boys. Then hunky Shane Reynolds comes along and seems to like Carrie better. So what should Carrie do? How about whine and accuse him of cheating with her sister? Throw tantrums? Act suspicious? Be angry because he bought her painting? Yeah, let's do that and then let's have him fall in love with her whiny ass anyway, because, well, I'm not sure why. But she will definitely fall in love with him because he's so cute! And rich!

Sadly, I see this was written by Debbie Macomber, who is a very popular author and whom I have never read and feel less inclined to try to read after experiencing the glory that is Harlequin Pink manga (printed in flirty pink ink!)

Did I mention - Puke!

If you want to read a good manga romance (shojo) then check out Honey Mustard or Spring or Emma. If you want to read crap manga romance, then check out Harlequin Pink. Blech.
