Though I am not a mother, this book serves as a warning for what kind of mother I strive not to be. It discusses the current obsessive desires mothers have for perfection -- in their homes, their partners, their children & more importantly, themselves. As a non-married woman, it makes me value the time I have alone now and makes me mindful of things to be aware of in the future. A good read for all women.
