It's winter break at St. Vladimir's, but there have been massive attacks against the living Vampires. To protect the students the entire school is going to a posh ski resort along with a lot of guardians including Rose's mother the famous Jaine Hathaway. And if things couldn’t get worse Rose's relationship with her tutor/mentor Dimitri is in taking a strange new life of its own. But when some students set out on their own to take on the Strigoi threat, Rose goes after them to try and stop them but will it be to late.

Book two in the Vampire Academy series and danger lurks around every corner. If you like Vampire books and haven’t read this series yet you should run out and get it immediately.
