I reread this book. I originally read it last year sometime, and when I saw that the movie was coming out, I wanted to reread it before seeing the movie. And I'm glad I did, it's such a great love story. When you think of love, and the way you (hopefully) love your spouse, there are so many ways to describe that feeling. This story is about a love that transcends time. I love the writing, and the face that the two narrators have distinct voices.

There is a theme of waiting in this book - Clare waiting for Henry, Henry waiting for Clare, them waiting to have a child. Someone is always waiting for a visit. Yet the author continues this theme without the plot dragging or the writing feeling repetitive.

I'm looking forward to the movie, but with the knowledge that the book is (almost) always better than the movie!
