it was amazing
Read in September, 2009

When I bought this book, based on the title alone, on 11 September 2009, I didn't know it would be about the amazing men from Engine 40, Ladder 35, who died on 11 September 2001. I have to say that this book as been the most moving book I've ever read. It was absolutely AMAZING! I can honestly say this book has given me an amazing perspective about what happened that day. It also gave me the chance to learn about the 13 men that set out from the firehouse that day, with only one to return. I would suggest this book to anyone. There is a good chance tears will fill your eyes at some parts, but to just read about these men, their families, the lives they lived, and the incredible things they've sacrificed is inspiring.
