did not like it
bookshelves: memoir, travel

I found myself chuckling a bit over the first few pages, after that I began to feel a growing irritation. The humor became increasing snide and vitriolic.. like a never-ending spigot of bile. This man is apparently superior to any creature residing on this planet, especially those rural plebians out in the country, you think we would have gotten the memo. After his umpteenth cruel assessment of some nice small-town waitress, I wished said waitress would pour coffee on his fat head. Alas, she was a greater human being than the pile of offal she was serving.
