This book delves deep into the making of Exile on Main Street. Keith is the drug addled musical genius that Mick has to tolerate for the sake of the music. Up until this album Keith and Mick had pretty much relied on Mick Taylor for the musical genius part, and the pressure is obviously too much for him to bare. So he copes by slamming needles, driving drunk after people with guns, and sleeping with everything that moves, all in the beautiful setting of the French Riviera. Great album, good book if you want to know too much about the Stones.
