James Patterson and Maxine Paetro are an explosive tandem. The 5th Horseman deserves all the praises and acclaims. This novel is divided into two stories, two separate incidents not related with each other and the women's murder club is working full force. The authors tap into medical malpractice that goes to court and would leave readers shocked at the events. Another angle is the mysterious killing of girls and how they're made to look like mannequins. The suspense never stops and the plot is twisted as always and one could never put this book down. No loose ends, no criminal not put behind bars, I loved the way the characters developed, Lindsay and Joe's relationship is getting somewhere, Cindy is still a damn good reporter, Claire still answers a lot of questions and provides strong evidence, and Yuki is directly affected with the unfortunate events. This book stirs, moves, thrills, and entertains
