I loved it! Three great authors with three captivating stories. All of them were about characters betrothed to someone and the marriage is not a love match and here come the heroes/heroines to change all that! I have to admit, Lisa Kleypas is my fave romance author, but I liked Julia Quinn's story the best. So for the quick reviews...

Against All Odds - short but sweet. I loved the reappearance of Derek and Sara (Dreaming of You) as parents with 5 kids, and their love is stronger than ever. For a short story, LK was able to squeeze in the history of the two characters and their animosity (disguising as hidden desire) towards each other. Great story, I'm not fond of kids but I liked the little girl who witnessed her elder sister make out in the hallway.

Midsummer's Knight - I liked this one too especially the setting, it's medieval I guess, there's certainly a misrepresentation, the conflicts were there, I enjoyed the jousting it reminded me of the movie "First Knight", background and characters were ok, but I seriously doubted about the proxy groom. Oh well, it's fiction!

A Tale of Two Sisters - very interesting from the start. It's a light read and it was effective how the characters were introduced, a little background before they step in the picture. I loved the humor, the characters were very easy to like, they matched very well. The events were unpredictable and this is the first Julia Quinn novel I've read and I want to read more of her work.
