it was amazing
Read in September, 2009

Mishna Wolff grew up with a father who embraced the African-American culture around him to the fullest extent. He wanted to be black and he wanted his two young daughters to be as well. He impressed lifestyles, dress, mannerisms, and even friends upon them in order to mold them into who he thought they should be.
While there is an underlying sadness to the story, Wolff's writing is full of humor. I read this book cover to cover and hated having to put it down.
